The fault in our stars

The voice over shown in the fault in our stars, has been spoken by the female protagonist. Her voice seems very lonely because of the tone of it. The voice over for this film, allows the audience to find out more about the protagonist and her personality, and it also gives the audience an insight of what her life is like and what she focuses on and shows some of her likes and dislikes.












The holiday

The voice over immediately starts off with the female protagonist where she is  talking about her love life, and it seem as if she is talking directly to the audience because she is using "You" The tone of voice when she is talking sound as if she is desperate for love and talks about what could be the male protagonist. Also, she sounds quite desperate because of her tone of voice increasing through the opening as the events show that they are both present at the same party. 

For our opening 2 minute, we will include a female protagonist as the voice over, talking about her past story, and what she does on an everyday life where she will be talking directly towards the audience by using "you", as this is really common in most romance film, as they get them involved in the film and into there lives. The voice over will also introduce who the female protagonist is, so giving the audience an idea of who the protagonist is on a more personal level.
