Setting for our film

The setting which we will start off with is my house where we will follow the protagonist on her way to school. We will then walk down a hill still following her journey. We will then approach a bus stop where it will be a slightly busier setting so that the audience begins to see the modern town. We will then go down the road leading to our school and enter our sixth form common room. This will be effective because the audience will be able to relate. We will then use a classroom where the film will end.

These are some pictures which we will use as the classroom setting. This is a well lit area so the camera we use for filming will also pick this up. The chairs will be turned around to make it seem like groups of people are there talking to each other. This will help the create the school and classroom atmosphere. The classroom will also have small groups in where we will get their consent for us to film them.

We went onto google images and found one of our locations which we will be filming in. We chose to use Dilston road because we are going to come rounf the corner with the white gates to introduce the female protagonist, and this is where we will start to follow the female protagonist as she will enter the school, down this pavement we will introduce the male protagonist as well asthey will have their fist glance at each other which the voice over will compliment. The lighting shown on google might not match to when we film it due to the natural lighting and the weather. During the film, we would possible have a bit of extra lighting which comes with the camera.

  1. Could you include a photograph of the bus stop and road where your protagonists may see each other?
