Interview Cast for 2 minute opening

Here we have summarised the results from our questionnaire, as we asked some of our cast to be questioned on why they would be suitable for the role.

Fahmida Akther
Fahmida will be good for this role because she has had past experience with acting in which she has been involved with drama for some time. The acting experience which Fahmida has had is she was in a school production where she maintained the role very well. She has thought well about the character who she will be playing as she will portray her natural characteristics which are laid back but funny. This will ensure that she is being the best possible character for the role which she will be playing. If there is a problem then we will go over the script and do a practice run through so that she will know what we are asking her. she says "Leonardo Di Caprio is my favourite actor because he is one of my main influences. He is able to put himself in character which all demand different characteristics which fits within the genre. In 'The Great Gatsby' his role as 'Jay Gatsby' was played well in my opinion as he was able to hold different emotions and be able to hide some to create and enigma for the audience in the beginning of the film." Fahmida expects the protagonist to have a very shy but yet an open personality and should show two different sides of her relating to a situation.

Hayley Knight
Hayley will be good for the antagonist role because she has played many different characters in the past. These have all asked different demands of her which she has successfully portrayed to the audience. The acting experience which Hayley has had is that she attended Stagecoach Leatherhead for 8 years in which she took no breaks suggesting that she is hard working and reliable. She has thought very well about the role in which she will be playing because she has been on stage since she was 7 years old so she will be confident and also know when to over react with body language and her voice. Her favourite actor is Jeremy Irvine, because plays a good role, as he gets emotions through to the audience. She says "Jeremy Irvine took the role of "Albert" in 'Warhorse' very well as he managed to adapt his voice to the Devon accent and also portrayed his role as a 17 year old boy very well. He put his love across for his horse in this film which was very evident to the audience because he was using his body language and also his facial expressions. I found this very moving to watch as he managed to create the emotional role. Jeremy Irvine is my main inspiration whilst I am acting because of the way he can adapt to different demands that different films have for him." Hayley thinks that the protagonist should be a kind and loving person because the genre is a romance but also has a hidden emotion due to the fact the role is about an online relationship and not many people are aware of this. Also, the protagonist should be attractive but with a judgemental and jealous friend who the audience are not meant to like.
